When the Home is in Mourning… We Stand With You

There was a time when we had neither phones nor internet—yet the entire neighborhood would gather through a simple announcement card. Some were handwritten, some designed in CorelDraw. Those cards carried respect and deep affection.

In today's era, when a loved one passes away, only the family truly understands the pain they endure. On one hand, you are holding back tears; on the other, fifty people are asking—'When is the funeral?', 'Where is the Namaz-e-Janaza?', 'When is the burial?'—and you find yourself repeating the same information over the phone to everyone.

We repeatedly saw people struggling—searching for graphic design shops, paying fees, and waiting for a card. The solution was ShokSandesh.in. We created handcrafted templates designed in CorelDraw with real textures and effects, ensuring they look like they were made by a professional.

Today, without any design skills and without spending any money, you can create a Muslim funeral invitation card in just 2 minutes. Our cards are print-quality, WhatsApp-ready, and fully honor Islamic traditions.

☪ Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'oon

Every card is designed with Quranic verses, Islamic calligraphy, and compassion — so you can honor the memory of your loved one with dignity.

How to Write Content — What to Include in a Muslim Funeral Card

What to Write on the Card? — Content Guide

A good Muslim funeral invitation card contains specific essential details. First — the full name of the deceased (e.g., Mohammad Rafiq Ahmed), their age, and date of passing. Following this, clearly state the time and location of Namaz-e-Janaza.

If you are creating a card for Soyem, Chehlum, or Teeja, include the full schedule of the program — when it will take place, where, and the timing for Quran Khwani. These details are very important for attendees.

  • Name: Mohammad Rafiq Ahmed (Late)
  • Passed Away: 14 June 2026, 10:30 PM
  • Namaz-e-Janaza: 15 June 2026, After Zuhr — Masjid-e-Rehmat, Bhagalpur
  • Burial: Qabrastan Road, Bhagalpur — After Asr
  • Quranic Verse: Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'oon
  • Contact: Always include a family contact number

How to Create Soyem, Chehlum, and Teeja Cards

In Islamic tradition, Teeja (3rd day), Soyem (3rd-day majlis), and Chehlum (40th day) are very significant. It is important to create a separate announcement card for each occasion.

On a Chehlum card, clearly mention the time for Quran Khwani, the Fatiha program, and the venue for guests. Our templates have dedicated sections — just fill them in.

If you wish to create a card for an annual Barsi or Urs, you can use our templates as well. Simply change the occasion name and everything else will be set.

Tone of Communication — Language Guide

Language in funeral cards should be simple and clear. People are in grief — avoid overly complex vocabulary. Use simple phrases like 'With heavy hearts, we inform you that...'

If you want to write in Urdu, our Urdu templates use the Nastaliq font. For Hindi, Devanagari templates are available. English mixing is also common among modern Muslim families.

  • Keep it short — avoid excessive text
  • Start with an Islamic greeting — Bismillah or Assalamu Alaikum
  • You can also add dates from the Islamic calendar (Hijri)
  • When sharing on WhatsApp, include the same info in the caption

How it Saves Time — Ending the Frustration of Repetition

Within the first hour of a passing, 20-30 people usually call to ask — when, where, and how. You are in grief, yet you have to repeat the same information constantly. This is exhausting.

Create the card once, share it once — the entire family, neighborhood, and community receive the information at once. No need to type long WhatsApp messages or repeat the same details on calls.

Our users say this tool provided relief from one major task during a difficult time — allowing them to focus on other necessary arrangements. That is our goal.
